Eddie Carrier Jr. entered his final event of the 2012 season on Saturday night as he traveled to 201 Speedway (Sitka, Kentucky) for the make-up event for the rain-delayed Halloween 50. The unsanctioned, $3,000-to-win event attracted more than 30 cars to the facility, and after winning the third heat race Eddie locked into the third starting spot for the main event. He would work his way into the second spot early in the event before chasing Jackie Boggs to the checkered flag. The second place finish concludes the 2012 season for Eddie Carrier Jr. He would like to thank all of his great fans and sponsors for their support as he and the team now look ahead to the 2012 campaign.

1 Saturday night found Eddie entering the second night of the Peak Motor Oil World Finals at the Dirt Track at Charlotte (Charlotte, North Carolina). Via his qualifying effort on Friday night Eddie started sixth in the third heat race. With the top three finishers moving onto the feature, Carrier Jr. would battle one lane conditions on the track as he could only manage a seventh place finish. His heat race struggles sent him to a b-main, where he started in the seventh position. Unfortunately for the second straight night he would fail to qualify for the main event, which brought his night to an early end.

1The destination for Eddie Carrier Jr. over the weekend was the Dirt Track at Charlotte for the Peak World Finals, which was sanctioned by the World of Outlaws (WoO) Super Late Model tour.

With time trials on Thursday night setting the heat race line ups for Friday and Saturday night, Eddie qualified twenty-fifth fastest for Friday's program, which locked him into the fifth starting spot for the first heat race. The caution-plauged heat saw Carrier Jr. fade as far back as the seventh spot before ultimately finishing fifth, which relegated him to the b-main. After starting third in the b-main Eddie would fail to work his way forward and slipped to a sixth place finish, which left him short of qualifying for the main event. As a result his night came to an early end. He will try again on Saturday night.
