August 24th, 2013 - Carrier Jr. Sixth at Volunteer
1 Eddie Carrier Jr. took to the 4/10 mile, high-banked oval at Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tennessee) on Thursday evening as the 10th Annual Scorcher was contested with a $10,000 payday on the line.

Thirty-three Super Late Models registered for action in the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) sanctioned event, and a 2nd place finish in his heat race positioned Carrier Jr. starting 6th in the main event. With passing being difficult in the feature Eddie raced in the top ten throughout the finale before crossing the finish line in the 6th spot in his #28 Grover Motorsports/Engines Inc/Rocket/Grover Racing Engine Super Late Model behind race winner, Chris Madden, Billy Ogle Jr., Dale McDowell, Scott Bloomquist, and Vic Hill.

Friday night was action free, while Saturday evening found the tour returning to competition at Lawrenceburg Speedway (Lawrenceburg, Indiana) in the annual Whiskey 50. Twenty-eight entries entered the program, and the night began on a strong note as Eddie finished second in his heat race to lock into the 4th starting spot for the feature. He raced in the top five early in the event before mechanical bugs found him once again, which relegated him to a 19th place finish.

Eddie is currently seventh in the latest LOLMDS standings. Full results from the program as well as the latest standings are available at www.LucasDirt.com.

August 18th, 2013 - Carrier Jr. Battles the Handle in the Topless 100

1 Eddie Carrier Jr. entered his first-ever, COMP Cams Topless 100 over the weekend in the 21st edition of the crown jewel with his #28 Grover Motorsports/Engines Inc/Rocket/Grover Racing Engine Super Late Model.

Fifty-five competitors took to the 3/8 mile oval on Friday evening, and Eddie earned the 4th starting spot for his heat race via time trials. Unfortunately he battled the handle on his entry in his heat race as he slipped to a 6th place finish. With only the top three finishers moving onto the feature he was relegated to a b-main on Saturday.

With Saturday came heavy rain in the late afternoon as the program was forced to be pushed to Sunday afternoon. When action resumed Eddie failed to transfer to the feature via his b-main and was forced to utilize a series' provisional to start in the 25th spot for the $40,000-to-win finale. Carrier Jr. would go on to advance seven spots to finish 18th.

Eddie is currently seventh in the latest LOLMDS standings. Full results from the program as well as the latest standings are available at www.LucasDirt.com.

1 Eddie Carrier Jr. overcame adversity in the finale for the 31st Annual Sunoco North/South 100 on Saturday night to register a 7th place finish in the crown jewel event in his #28 Grover Motorsports/Engines Inc/Rocket/Grover Racing Engine Super Late Model.

On Friday evening a stout field of 67 entries took to the 1/2 mile oval, and Eddie qualified 8th fastest in his group. With an invert of three in place for heat race action Carrier Jr. started on the pole of his heat race before rocketing to the win to lock into the 4th starting spot for Saturday night's $50,000-to-win, 100 lap finale.

He raced in the top ten until lap 78, when he slowed with tire issues. He would duck into the pits before rejoining the tail of the field. Over the final 22 laps he rebounded to a 7th place finish.
