1Eddie Carrier Jr. ended his 2013 Speed Weeks venture on Saturday night at Volusia Speedway Park (Barberville, Florida) with a $10,000-to-win, World of Outlaws (WoO) Super Late Model event. February 20th, 2013 - Carrier Jr. Continues Volusia Plight
On Wednesday evening Eddie Carrier Jr. was looking for better luck as he participated in the third round of 1the 42nd Annual DIRTCar Nationals at Volusia Speedway Park (Barberville, Florida). Unfortunately even wholesale setup changes and a motor change would not make much of a change.

A Speedweeks high of 55 entries took part in the $10,000-to-win, UMP DIRTCar Super Late Model event, and after falling one spot short of qualifying for the feature in heat race action, Carrier Jr. started on the front row of a b-main, but slipped back in the field and out of contention. Despite not transferring to the feature he earned a starting spot in the bulrush dash for nonqualifiers and advanced to a fourth place finish.

February 19th, 2013 - Carrier Jr. Battles Setup in Round Two at Volusia
1The second round of the 42nd Annual DIRTCar Nationals was held at Volusia Speedway Park (Barberville, Florida) on Tuesday evening, and the $7,000-to-win, UMP DIRTCar event would prove to be a challenge for Eddie Carrier Jr.

Forty-seven Super Late Models entered the event, and struggles in qualifying left Eddie starting seventh on the grid for the third heat race. In the heat he would fail to advance through the field, which pinned him starting deep in a b-main. The team decided to scratch from the b-main, but was able to start the 30 lap feature via a point's provisional. In the main event Carrier Jr. made an early exit on lap 2 as he continued to battle setup and mechanical gremlins. Eddie was credited with a 26th place finish.

February 16th, 2013 - Eddie Carrier Jr. Closes Out East Bay Week
1The 37th Annual Winter Nationals drew to a close on Saturday at East Bay Raceway Park (Gibsonton, Florida) as a pair of Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) events were contested.

The day began with a $7,000-to-win program that served as a make-up event for Thursday night's rainout. A fourth place finish in the fourth heat race positioned Carrier Jr. starting sixteenth on the grid for the 35 lap feature. During the course of the feature Eddie passed seven cars to finish in the ninth position.

The night portion of the program offered the competitors a $10,000 check for the 60 lap feature. Qualifying left Carrier Jr. starting seventh in his heat race, but he quickly worked his way forward to a second place finish, which sent him to the sixth starting spot for the finale. The feature would prove to be filled with tire attrition, and Eddie wouldn't be immune as a flat tire relegated him to a fifteenth place finish in the final rundown.
