1Eddie Carrier Jr. took his #28 Grover Motorsports/Rocket/ Grover Racing Engine Super Late Model into battle in the opening round of a triple header with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) on Thursday night at Swainsboro Raceway (Swainsboro, Georgia).

The $10,000-to-win event was attended by nineteen competitors, and a second place finish in his heat race locked Carrier Jr. into the sixth starting spot for the 50 lap finale. He would battle just outside the top five for the duration of the event before crossing the finish line in fifth behind race winner, Dennis Erb Jr., Earl Pearson Jr., Jared Landers, Don O'Neal, and Steve Francis.

Friday evening took the team to the famed Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, South Carolina) for the 15th Annual Grassy Smith Memorial, which drew a field of twenty-seven LOLMDS racers to the speed plant. A fourth place finish in Eddie's heat race locked him into the eleventh starting spot for the 50 lap, $10,000-to-win finale, and he would go on to race just outside the top ten for much of the event before crossing the finish line in the eleventh spot.

Eddie concluded his weekend on Saturday night at Wythe Raceway (Rural Retreat, Virginia) with a $10,000-to-win, LOLMDS event at the 1/2 mile oval. Via preliminary action Eddie earned the thirteenth starting spot for the 50 lap feature before advancing to a sixth place finish behind race winner, Earl Pearson Jr., John Blankenship, Steve Shaver, Jared Landers, and Steve Francis.

Forty-six Super Late Model registered to try and tame the "black ice" at the 3/8 mile oval, and struggles in time trials left Eddie starting seventh on the grid for his heat race on Friday evening. Despite starting deep in the field he advanced to a fourth place finish, which locked him into the sixteenth starting spot for Saturday night's, 100 lap finale.

In front of a capacity crowd and the Lucas Oil Production Studios cameras Eddie raced around mid-pack for the duration of the feature before crossing the finish line in the thirteenth position.

Eddie is ninth in the latest LOLMDS standings. Full results from the program are available at www.LucasDirt.com.

Eighty-four Super Late Models were on hand for the $100,000-to-win event, and Eddie recorded the ninth fastest lap of the weekend in qualifications. While he was scheduled to start on the outside front row of his heat race an inversion of six was drawn, so he was forced to start in the fifth position. Despite being inverted Carrier Jr. stormed to his heat race win on Saturday evening to lock into the fourth starting spot for the 100 lap finale.
