February 15th, 2014 - Carrier Jr. Continues Strong Showing at Easy Bay

The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series event boosted a $10,000-to-win top prize and 48 competitors registered to chase the big payday. Eddie started third and finished third in his preliminary heart race which locked him into a ninth place starting spot for the 50 lap feature event. Carrier raced inside the top ten over the course of the feature before settling in to a ninth place finish.

Saturday's double header started with the make-up event from Wednesday night's rain out. Eddie posted the quickest lap in Group A during qualifying among the 35 competitors signed in and went on to finish third in his heat race, earning him a ninth place starting spot for the $7,000-to-win feature. During the course of the 35 lap affair, Carrier slowly worked his way forward, eventually crossing the finish line with a fifth place finish behind race winner Bobby Pierce, Greg Satterlee, and Steve Francis.

A successful 2014 Speedweeks campaign came to a close on Saturday night for Eddie Carrier Jr. Thirty-nine competitors registered to chase the $10,000 top prize. Eddie finished second in his heat race which locked him into an eighth starting spot for the 60 lap feature event. Carrier drove his #28 Grover Motorsports/Engines Inc/Rocket/Grover Racing Engine Super Late Model to a fourth place in the feature.

February 13th, 2014 - Carrier Jr. Lands First Victory of 2014 at Easy Bay

Eddie topped the 44 car field in Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series time trials with a blistering 13.971 seconds lap (new track record) and later went on to win his heat race, earning him the outside poll position for the 25 lap feature. Carrier took the lead on the initial start from pole sitter Devin Moran and never looked back from there, leading every lap in his Grover Motorsports, Engines Inc. #28 Rocket powered by a Grover Racing Engine. Moran finished a close second followed by Brandon Sheppard, Brian Shirley, and Billy Moyer, Jr. rounding out the top five.

Round #2 of the 38th Annual Winternationals at East Bay Raceway Park drew 47 competitors and Eddie Carrier Jr. posted the quickest lap during Group A of Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series time trials. Later in the evening Eddie finished second in his heat race behind Brandon Sheppard, locking him into the $5,000-to-win feature event starting fifth. Carrier ran as high as third at times during the course of the 25 lap race before settling in for a solid fourth place finish behind race winner Billy Moyer, Steve Francis and Brandon Sheppard, while Don O'Neal rounded out the top five.

Eddie and the Grover Motorsports team returned to action in the 38th Winternationals on Thursday night after Wednesday night events were postponed due to weather. Eddie started fourth in his heat race and finished second behind John Blankenship earning him a seventh place starting spot for the $7,000-to-win feature. During the course of the 45 lap feature, Carrier stayed within the top ten before crossing the finish line with an eighth place finish.

February 8th, 2014 - Carrier Jr. Opens 2014 Season at Golden Isles
Eddie Carrier Jr. opened his version of the 2014 season with the Georgia Boot Super Bowl of Racing at Golden Isles Speedway Park in Brunswick, Georgia. Evening rain forced officials to postpone Thursday nights event, setting up a double header on Friday for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS).

Friday's action got underway with the $5,000-to-win make-up event from Thursday night, and after suffering from terminal issues in his heat Carrier Jr. was forced to run a B-Main, but missed the transfer to the feature.

The night portion of the program offered up a $10,000 top prize for the 50 lap feature. Eddie finished third in his heat race locking him into a 10th place starting spot for the feature. During the course of the feature Carrier Jr. advanced two positions for a respectable eighth place finish.

The weekend drew to a close on Saturday night with the $10,000-to-win finale for the LOLMDS Georgia Boot Super Bowl of Racing. Eddie won his heat race which locked him into the 50 lap feature starting outside the front row. Carrier fell back to third during the course of the event but was able to climb back to second, and even challenge for the lead as the top three worked through lap traffic, before settling for a solid second place finish.
