June 21st, 2014 - Carrier Jr. Enters LOLMDS at Cherokee & Smoky Mountain
Eddie Carrier Jr. took his #28 Grover Motorsports/Optima Batteries/Rocket/Grover Racing Engine Super Late Model into battle with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) on Friday night at Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, South Carolina).

The $10,000-to-win, 16th Annual Grassy Smith Memorial was attended by twenty-eight competitors. Eddie finished second in the first heat race, earning him the fourth starting spot in the 50 lap finale. In the feature Carrier Jr. battled the handle on his entry to a tenth place finish in the finale rundown.

Saturday evening took the team to Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tennessee), as the LOLMDS made its first ever appearance at the oval. A field of twenty-seven entries were on hand for the $10,000-to-win program, and a heat race win positioned Carrier Jr. starting third in the 50 lap feature. Eddie raced around the top five throughout the event before mechanical issues on the final circuit relinquished him to a disappointing twelfth place finish.

June 14th, 2014 - Terminal Issues for Eddie Carrier Jr. at Magnolia
Eddie Carrier Jr. traveled to Magnolia Motor Speedway over the weekend as he participated in the $20,000-to-win, Clash at the Mag, which was sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS).

Forty-four Super Late Models registered to try and tame the 3/8 mile oval, and Eddie started the weekend off by setting fast time in Group A during qualifications. As a results he started on the pole of his heat race and won, positioning him on the pole of the 100 lap finale on Saturday night, with Randy Weaver alongside.

In front of a capacity crowd and the Lucas Oil Production Studios cameras, Eddie had high hopes for the feature. Unfortunately, terminal issues on lap 33 brought his night to a disappointing early end.

June 7th, 2014 - Eddie Carrier Jr. Competes in Dream 100 at Eldora
Eddie Carrier Jr. competed in the 20th Annual Dirt Late Model Dream 100 at Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) over the weekend.

Action kicked off on Thursday evening as the field was divided into a pair of $2,500-to-win programs. Eddie started his night off on a strong note as he charged to Fast Time honors among the seventy-eight entries on hand for the event. After spinning a three on the inversion wheel Carrier Jr. would start third in his heat race. He went on to finish fourth in the heat which positioned him starting thirteenth on the grid for the 25 lap feature. During the course of the main event he raced his was to a ninth place finish in the final rundown.

Round #2 of the 20th Annual Dirt Late Model Dream 100 was contested on Friday evening, with the winner's purse increased to $5,000 as Twin 25 features were once again on tap. Eddie used a b-main win to lock into the seventeenth starting position for the 25 lap feature. In the main event Carrier Jr. advanced seven spots to a tenth place finish at the checkered flag.

The weekend concluded on Saturday night with the $100,000-to-win finale, as a heat race inversion of five left Carrier Jr. starting fifth in his heat race. Despite being inverted Carrier Jr. stormed to his heat race win to lock into the third starting spot for the 100 lap main event. In the feature Carrier Jr. assumed the point from leader Scott Bloomquist on lap seventeen. He held off a hard charging Bloomquist until lap 32 when Bloomquist regained the top spot. From that point Eddie slowly faded to ultimately register a seventh place finish.
