May 31st, 2014 - Carrier Jr. Survives for Seventh Place Finish at Tazewell
Eddie Carrier Jr. and Grover Motorsports traveled to Tazewell Speedway (Tazewell, Tennessee) on Friday evening for a $10,000-to-win, Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) event at the wicked fast, 4/10 mile oval.

Twenty-one entries were on hand for the program, and a fourth place finish in heat race action positioned him starting twelfth on the feature grid. The 50 lap finale would prove to be an attrition-filled event. However, Eddie would survive numerous caution periods and two red flag conditions for a solid seventh place finish.

Saturday evening took the team to Florence Speedway (Union, Kentucky) for the 28th Annual Ralph Latham Memorial, which drew a strong field of thirty-six LOLMDS competitors the 1/2 mile oval. A fourth place finish in heat race action locked Eddie into the thirteenth starting spot for the 50 lap, $10,000-to-win finale. He would go on to race just outside the top ten for much of the event, and ultimately register an eleventh place finish in the final rundown.

May 24th, 2014 - Carrier Jr. Competes in 22nd Annual Show Me 100
Eddie Carrier Jr. visited the state-of-the-art Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Missouri) on Thursday evening as he competed in the opening round of the 22nd Annual Lucas Oil Show Me 100. A $5,000 winner's check was posted for the Lucas Oil Midwest Late Model Racing Association (MLRA) program, and via his qualifying efforts Eddie earned the sixth starting spot for the first heat race. He advanced to a second place finish in the heat, earning him a spot in the redraw for the 45 lap feature. After receiving the eighth starting position on the grid for the feature Carrier Jr battled his way to a fifth place finish behind race winner, Scott Bloomquist, Robert Baker, Chris Simpson, and Don O'Neal.

On Friday evening preliminary action was held for the $30,000-to-win 22nd Annual Lucas Oil Show Me 100 for Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) competitors at Lucas Oil Speedway. A talented field of sixty-five entries were set to do battle in the big event, and time trials positioned Eddie starting seventh in his heat race, before advancing to a third place finish. As a results he would start eighteenth on the grid for the 100 lap finale on Saturday night. During the course of the feature he advanced six spots to a twelfth place finish in the final rundown.

May 17th, 2014 - Eddie Carrier Jr. Finishes Eighth at LaSalle Speedway
It was back to business with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) over the weekend as the Grover Motorsports/OPTIMA® Batteries team traveled to LaSalle Speedway (LaSalle, Illinois) for what was scheduled to be a doubleheader of Super Late Model action.

Unfortunately, Friday night's program would fall victim to Mother Nature. As a result the weekend was reduced to a single $10,000-to-win race on Saturday evening as thirty-seven entries took to the 1/4 mile oval. The night started on a high note for the Salt Rock Express as he blazed to fast time honors in qualifications with a 12.404 seconds lap. A second place finish in heat race action positioned Carrier Jr. starting fifth in the feature. He battled amongst the top five early on before ultimately registering an eighth place finish.

May 3rd, 2014 - Carrier Jr. Competes in Lucas Oil Tripleheader
1Eddie Carrier Jr. took his #28 Grover Motorsports/Rocket/Grover Racing Engine Super Late Model into battle in the opening round of a tripleheader with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) on Thursday night at Macon Speedway (Macon, Illinois).

The $12,000-to-win St. Louis U-Pic-A-Part 100 at the 1/5 mile bullring was attended by thirty-one competitors, and a second place finish in his heat race locked Carrier Jr. into the fifth starting spot for the 100 lap finale. He would battle amongst the top five for the duration of the event before crossing the finish line in fifth behind race winner Bobby Pierce, Brian Shirley, Steve Francis, and Jimmy Owens.

Friday evening took the team to Tri-City Speedway (Granite City, Illinois) for the annual Spring Classic, which drew a field of thirty-four LOLMDS competitors. A second place finish in Eddie's heat race locked him into the seventh starting spot for the 50 lap, $10,000-to-win finale, and he would go on to race just inside the top ten for much of the event before crossing the finish line in the ninth position.

Eddie concluded his weekend on Saturday night at Paducah International Raceway (Paducah, Kentucky) with a $10,000-to-win, LOLMDS event. Eddie suffered a flat tire in his heat race while in a transfer position, forcing him to run a b-main where he would fail to reach a transfer spot. The Salt Rock Express would have to utilize a series provisional to lock into the 23rd starting spot on the grid for the feature. In the 50 lap main event he charged from the back of the back to advance fourteen positions en route to a solid ninth place finish.
