On Friday night a strong field of eighty-nine entries registered for competition, and via time trials Carrier Jr. earned the pole position for his heat race. Eddie stormed to the heat race win, which earned him a spot in the redraw where he received the pole position for Saturday night's $50,000-to-win finale with Billy Moyer alongside.

Rain on Saturday would however force the program to be pushed to Sunday afternoon. The 100 lap feature found Carrier Jr. sliding back early in the event before charging back in the closing laps to a second place finish behind race winner, Scott Bloomquist. Jimmy Owens, Don O'Neal and Jason Feger rounded out the top five finishers.

"We started the year off pretty good, but had some challenges along the way. It has been a great season though, especially with winning the North/South 100. We are learning week-to-week with these Rocket cars and we feel we can come back next year and compete for a championship,” said Carrier Jr. following his runner-up finish.

Eddie finished fifth in the final LOLMDS standings. Full results from the program as well as the final series standings are available at www.LucasDirt.com
