March 22nd, 2014 - Carrier Jr. Continues Strong Start to 2014 Season
Eddie Carrier Jr. continued his strong start to the 2014 season on Saturday evening at the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) tour took him to Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Indiana) for the 17th Annual Indiana Icebreaker.

A stout field of forty-five competitors were registered for the $10,000-to-win event at the historic 1/4 mile oval, and Eddie started the night off strong by posting the overall fastest lap during time trials. Carrier Jr. went on to win his heat race, locking him into the pole position for the 50 lap finale. When the feature went green, Carrier Jr. jumped to the race lead. The Salt Rock Express began to work lap traffic early allowing fifth starting Don O'Neal to close in. The pair waged a battle for top spot in lapped traffic before O'Neal took over the position for good on lap eleven. O'Neal built a comfortable lead in traffic and claimed the win while Carrier Jr. settled for close second. Steve Francis was third while Scott Bloomquist and Kent Robinson completed the top five.
