1After Mother Nature wiped out the Jim Dunn Memorial at Midway Speedway (Crooksville, Ohio), Eddie Carrier Jr. headed to Portsmouth Raceway Park (Portsmouth, Ohio) on Sunday for the track’s season opener. With 23 Super Late Models on hand, Carrier Jr. passed four cars in his heat race reeling in a 2nd place finish behind Brandon Fouts. Earning the 6th-starting position for the A-Main, Eddie inherited the lead on lap-19 when the leader went down with a flat-tire. Holding off the field in the remaining six circuits, Eddie Carrier Jr. soared to his first win of the season over Brandon Fouts, Delmas Conley, Shannon Thornsberry, and Rod Conley. May 12th, 2018 - Carrier Jr. Lands Podium Finish at I-77 Speedway
1Eddie Carrier Jr. traveled to I-77 Speedway (Ripley, West Virginia) on Friday night for the Ultimate Mid-Ohio Valley Series sanctioned MOV Showdown. In a field of 28 Super Late Models, Carrier Jr. followed up the second fastest time in qualifying with a 3rd place finish in his heat. Earning the 3rd-starting position for the opening night feature, Eddie held his spot for all 40-laps to place 3rd behind Tyler Carpenter and Zach Dohm with Chris Garnes and Zach Hill completing the Top-5 finishers. 1On Saturday night Carrier Jr. followed the Ultimate MOV Series to Tyler County Speedway (Middlebourne, West Virginia) for the Earl Hill Memorial. In a field of 17 cars, Eddie laid down the second fastest time in qualifying before placing 2nd in his heat. Rolling off 4th for the $5,000-to-win A-Main, Eddie Carrier Jr. dropped two positions registering an 6th place finish.
